Leaving a legacy
Many people, however much they want to, feel unable to make significant financial gifts to causes that they support during their lifetime. A gift in your will enables you to do just that. Once you have looked after your loved ones and friends, you can make that special gift to your favourite charity, and know it will make a real difference to a cause very dear to you.
By remembering the Trust in your will, there will be a living memorial of your concern and care for the conservation of our beautiful county and the protection of its wildlife.
Here are some examples of how you could make a difference:
- £500 could buy pond-dipping and other equipment for children’s activities
- £1,000 could enable volunteers to build otter holts
- £5,000 could pay for paths and boardwalks at our nature reserves for wheelchair users
- £10,000 could restore a wildflower meadow to its former glory
- £50,000 could help us to acquire an important wildlife site and save it from development, forever.
Gifts of this kind have already helped us to buy and restore a wetland habitat as a haven for birds and wildlife. Your gift could help us to provide protection for endangered species, buy and manage nature reserves, educate and inspire our children or stand up for wildlife. If you are considering leaving a gift in your will, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss this further or request more information.
