Become a Wildlife Watch leader or helper
A typical Wildlife Watch leader or helper is someone who enjoys working with children, is enthusiastic and concerned about the environment and enjoys being out of doors. No expert wildlife knowledge is required as volunteers receive support and guidance from the Trust.
All the Wildlife Watch groups work within a monitored framework for child welfare and safety, and all Watch leaders undergo a thorough recruitment process to check their suitability to work with young people. We find every leader brings their own style, ideas and enthusiasm to the group. You may like to set up a new group in your area or help out at an existing group.
To find out more about joining in contact the local Wildlife Watch Co-ordinator, Sarah Wood on 01380 725670 ext 272.

Whether it is searching for minibeasts that live in compost or making wonderful creations from waste, it is always helpful to have an extra pair of hands.
For this role, you will be required to carry out a Criminal Records Check with the Criminal Records Bureau, which will be paid for by the Trust.
